Prior to teaching Computer Science at Latitude, Nick worked as a software engineer for several and received an M.S. in Computer Science from Portland State University. His software engineering experience was varied and had him working on projects involving browser-based DJing, space satellite networking, cloud identification, and jello-making machines. As someone who didn’t get into coding until he was an adult, he especially enjoys teaching students who might not initially think that Computer Science is for them. Nick has lived in Ohio, Oregon, Texas, New Hampshire, and Southern California, but loves it here in the Bay and plans to spend the rest of his time here.
