How to Enroll at Latitude
Oakland public charter school applications open November 12, 2024 for the 2025-2026 school year. Be sure to apply by the February 14, 2025 deadline!
Latitude High School is proud to partner with Oakland Enrolls to help you choose the best Oakland public charter school for your child. Latitude is a public school, free and open to all students. English language learners and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Get started now at OaklandEnrolls.org.
The application deadline for Latitude for the 2025-2026 school year is February 14, 2025.

LOTTERY
Applications received by this deadline will be included in our public lottery, held on Monday, March 3, 2025. On Thursday, March 6, 2025 you will see your charter school lottery results (OFFER or WAITLIST) in your online
student dashboard (Oakland Enrolls Avela) and at that time you can ACCEPT or DECLINE an offer.
Application Deadline
The deadline to ACCEPT/DECLINE a charter school offer is March 20, 2025. If you do not accept by this date, your charter school lottery offer(s) will expire. Once you accept an offer, offers from other Oakland charter schools will be automatically declined. You can remain on waitlists but may only accept an offer at one school.
Missed Deadline
If you miss the February 14, 2025 application deadline, you will still be able to submit an online application for the 2025-2026 school year.
Charter school applications submitted after the February deadline will be considered a Late Application – you will be placed on a waiting list at each of your selected schools, and/or offered enrollment if space becomes available.
Re-enrollment
If you already attend Latitude High School, you do not need to apply to attend again next year.
Latitude is a free public school that welcomes all students in Oakland and its surrounding communities, regardless of race or ethnicity, color, ancestry, nationality, national origin, ethnic group identification, religion, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity or expression, or achievement level in administration of its admissions policies or education programs. There is no cost to apply, and there are no requirements for admission. English language learners and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
