Son of NBA luminary Al Attles, Alvin Attles, III is a dynamic author who has been categorized as the ultimate wordsmith. He is an accomplished coach, director, and mentor. A USF graduate, Attles followed his father’s footsteps into basketball and played overseas. After his playing days, Attles began impacting young basketball players from the sidelines. Attles became a varsity head coach (boys’ basketball), spanning three high schools. Seeing the opportunity to facilitate kids “playing the right way,” Attles created Attles School of Basketball in 2000. Over the years ASOB has reached thousands of aspiring basketball players (boys and girls) through basketball camps, clinics and individual training. Attles is a family man who enjoys basketball, travel, and all genres of music.
